I have a feeling that I won't be met with much opposition here ;)

The unfortunate similarity between Blair and Obama has been remarked on - both came out of nowhere to take many previously conservative areas and were hailed as the start of a new era. At least in the case of Obama he doesn't really have a greater power to be bullied by.
