As a leftie, I feel... not as bad as one would reasonably expect me to about the election results. I credit my strangely-okay-with-this-ness to a combination of nothing unexpectedly bad happening (the Dems got clobbered in the House but everyone knew they were going to,) having recently had my sanity restored, and the fact that my Representative survived. He is awesome, so no matter what things look like nationally, I can still be proud to call myself his constituent.
