In the end it was perfectly charming - I really loved the leaping into bed animation that introduces the levels. I know that's how I get into bed, which is why I can go out cold so quickly but also why my face is so pancake-like. I also smiled at the square wave snoring noise the enemies make once you've fed them enough.

The idea of the manual had occurred to me - I had wondered whether I should open one up in the background just in case I ever needed to refer to it, but experimentation served me well even if the amount of time it took me to work out the mole thing was slightly embarrassing (and this at the point where I mentioned obvious solutions, as well). I used to really read game manuals all the way through, as you could discover so much that wasn't explained by the game by reading them - now, I haven't felt one necessary for at least ten years.

But that's the idea of the video, this miniature voyage of discovery - even if I might make myself appear thicker than I would like in the process!
