As time goes by... as time goes BY!!! (Windows shatter)
While I was at lunch today, I learned of the flamingo-up I made in the last entry (it's like a cock-up, only much, much bigger) so that's been quietly corrected. Anna had the idea of going to... Jannetta's, or something, for ice cream. Now, I'm not usually an ice cream fan but that was good - I think Paul described it as like liquefied sticky toffee pudding, which is pretty accurate.
In the evening I was going to work... no, that's a lie, we were going to play Monopoly but ended up being called out by Rachel to take part in a pub quiz. We split up in to boys vs. girls, with Chris being an honorary girl. And as it happens, we came dead last and won a pack of custard doughnuts.
After that we strolled to Niall's flat. Halfway there I remembered that I still had the wallet of PS games from when I took them home earlier on, so Soul Blade was put on - it's always popular despite it being so old. Then after a failed attempt to get the multi-tap working, Evil Zone got a look in - a game unhampered by more than two controls, tactics, or indeed making any sense whatsoever.
Back in the hall, and now I'm going to try and download the University Challenge episode from "The Young Ones". I bet it won't show right on my computer, though.
