Spud's Quest

Here's something to do if you're bored - have a go at Spud's Quest. Be warned that it'll probably consume your life, especially if you're old and non-American enough to remember the Dizzy games by Codemasters. (Screenshots are here.)

It's well-made games like this that really make me proud to be part of the Click community. By request in the chatroom, I have written a walkthrough for it to help people when they're stuck, but I'm not going to give you the link to it. Hah.

I didn't much like the dizzy games; the i didn't get the logic for it. Big brother was scared of the dizzy hawk in the first game, some of the games required insanely precise jumping to get anywhere. at least you could put a hole in your inventory and drop everything.

Fast Food dizzy was the best dizzy game ever.

My dad even bought Spin Dizzy because he thought it was a dizzy title. It... wasn't.

LOL I remember Spin Dizzy. I played it lots, but I really wasn't very good at it.

As for the regular dizzy games, I was able to complete Fantasy World Dizzy, Magicland Dizzy and Dizzy Prince of the Yolkfolk on the spectrum, as well as crashing Kwik Snax by getting more than 9999 points lol.

Spud's Quest so far reminds me more of Prince of the Yolkfolk than any other. It's too bad that water kills him, but interesting that he doesn't sink to the bottom.
