Oh Atlantis, I hear your call
Jul. 23rd, 2003 11:12 pmIt's over, finally. The last five were delivered this morning, and my supervisor, Mark Isneverinwhenyouphonehim, came round to collect the others a moment ago. Now I just have to wait a couple of weeks for the cheque, unless they find some excuse not to give me it, like the phonebook squashed someone's cat as it came through the letterbox, or something.
Rather nicely, the albums I ordered from Amazon arrived just as I was typing this: Kamelot - Epica, and Iron Savior - Dark Assault. I now have the entire Iron Savior story, so hooray for that. As is customary of Noise Records' rubbish cases, the Epica case arrived with no spokes in the centre, but that will be easily fixed with strategic use of a pen.
Funnily enough, the last time I checked Amazon (yesterday) they were due to arrive on the 11th of August. I must just have been lucky - as I'm sure you're all sick of me saying by now, it must have been because of it being the 23rd.
Now, back to normal and nothing happening, at least until Monday when my German relatives arrive. That means that no one can complain about the length of this entry, at least.
