davidn: (good)
Note the strange similarity of the lyrics to this and "Man on a Mission" in my last entry.

I finally handed in my lab reports - I got the results of the ones from last year as well, and for the most part they're truly appalling :) Covered in notes from Dr Philp such as "Use _this_ result!", "WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!" and so on. The mystery of how I passed that module with a 15 continues.

Karaoke was fun as well - for most of the evening I was up with Jennifer and Natalie, so most people thought I'd left (or was playing DDR, of course). Criminally, the karaoke list doesn't include Living on a Prayer (as Natalie found out when she got me to agree to sing it if she could find it). I wouldn't mind doing that, though.

Also I couldn't help noticing that they had "Follow Me" - Uncle Cracker, and "Strangers in the Night" - Frank Sinatra. NB. Not "Follow Me" - Gamma Ray or "Strangers in the Night" - Gamma Ray.

"If there was any justice in the world, Gamma Ray would be getting worldwide #1s and Limp Bizkit wouldn't have a record deal." - Amazon.com review

I was on DDR as well, of course. I tried the second "rank" on the 4 non stop courses, but was beaten by an absolutely horrendous dance track at the end (worse even than Dynamite Rave). Still, I'm top of the high scores even if I can't fathom out how to put the right initials in. WCB or DXN, whatever.

Now I'm going to complete this week's CS practical, and then I am going to sit back and relax. That's how Uni should be.
