I suppose I'd better update this, and start updating more regularly as well.
So, I'm now back in St Andrews with my new computer and shiny USB drive. Now, while I'm impressed by the fact that I now have a computer capable of running games made after 1999 (oh, and it'll probably be good for work too, I don't know) it won't be connected up until ITS get round to it - so at the moment I'm still on my old one, typing this as I try and set up the new one to make it as much like old Windows as possible. My room looks slightly like the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise.
Now all I have to do is find a way to get all my DOS things working on the new one as well. I mean "do some revision". Yes, that's it.
