Damn. Let's draw up a table for easy comparison:
Number of lectures we've had off already this semester: 2
Number of those that I've turned up to before remembering: 2
And I've got the first lab of the year this afternoon, followed by the ChemSoc ball. I haven't been to a ceilidh in ages.
Last night was entertaining, though I didn't stay long at the Union after Paul and I valiantly attempted Ranking 3 Difficult. On the way back I went in to Drouthys to wish Mossop a happy birthday, then stood around for a while listening to Fiona and Sarah practice each other's accents before leaving due to an acute case of pie-induced nausea.
This is a great song - another of Gamma Ray's ballads, but not as uncharacteristic as "A While In Dreamland". In fact it sounds as if it could have been a Queen song. There's something almost hymn-like about it.
