I've just discovered that the Look and Read site has an MP3 of a true classic from my childhood - the Magic E song. (To anyone who didn't see the programme due to being born too late or in the wrong country - no, it isn't what you think it is.)
Like every programme broadcast between 1990 and 1995, I'm sure I have some complete series in the video cupboard. Who could forget Sky Hunter, with the kids being fooled in to delivering a telegram by Mr Trim writing every word on it backwards and claiming that it was Welsh? Or Charn from Through the Dragon's Eye. He was one of the most terrifying things ever, being a sort of goat's skull in a black cloak with Freddy Krueger-style scissor fingers. And this on schools TV.
After some sandwich making in the evening at work, it took me ages to find my car in the golf club's large car park. Stupid countryside with no street lights. Of course, it could be argued that I should really keep in mind where I left a ton or two of metal costing several thousand pounds, but that's not my point here.
Also, as I said before, Dancing Stage Fusion looks to have the greatest song selection since the original Euromix - now that I think about it, there are very few songs on Euromix 2 that are recognisable. But with things like I Believe in a Thing Called Love and Move Your Feet, it's better than ever.
This entry wasn't meant to be quite so disjointed. I'm struggling for things to say.
