Jun. 16th, 2005 08:21 pm"Your" is a word that is used to indicate possession or association. "You're" is a contraction of "You are". The two are not interchangeable. This is not a difficult concept to grasp. I've now seen the word "Your" misused so often that it's beginning to look wrong no matter where it's used.
This post was brought on by seeing yet another misuse on The Sinner - a site for St Andrews students, supposedly the best (or sometimes, richest) in Scotland.
I'm going to go and have a lie down now.
