I remember even as far back as 2003, when I got the computer I currently have (actually, with my latest upgrade its Computer of Theseus status is complete and it finally has none of its original parts any more) I insisted on it having a floppy drive, but later realized that I couldn't remember ever using it. I'd love to know the contents of yours... I also still have a couple of boxes of 5.25" disks that really can't be read by anything, I've tried looking for a USB floppy drive but the electronics are just too different for them to exist.
