Happy 2005!

I have decided to simplify my New Years Resolution list after the almost total failure to keep any of the ones that I posted at this time last year (I'm not even sure what I meant by number 3, as the "whichever that one is" comment seems to make no sense at all), and this is the new updated one.

1. I resolve to stop biting my nails.
2. That's it.

This resolution is made by me every year and always gets broken, though the duration of keeping it can vary from half a day to a couple of weeks. Who knows, maybe it will work this time. My sister has already offered to buy me some of that vile-tasting invisible nail varnish.

I did want to compare the list to the start of 2003 as well, but I was shocked to find that I hadn't posted a New Year entry for that year. I clicked through the next couple of days to see if I'd done a late update, and it wasn't until then that I realised I didn't have a Livejournal until April.

don't stop biting your nails, its an art form. you can tell the people that only have started biting their nails as they tend to be jaggy, mines are always perfectly* smooth as i have been doing it for years.

*perfect by the naked eye that is.

I think you meant whichever life was real... which doesn't make much sense either.
