I've received another solid battering of a feedback from Stuart Norcross (I find some of his comments quite rude, actually) followed by an inexplicable 17.6 at the end, and a complete lack of feedback from Tom Kelsey with a probably randomly chosen 18 put in to the Grade box. Now all I need to wait for is the result for my incredibly basic Database program - I had had enough of practicals by the time I did that and just couldn't be bothered to spruce it up. Therefore, I'm between a 16" polyurethane crash mat and a soft place as far as the practicals are concerned, and if it wasn't for the department's unfair upper grade bound of 2 above the exam grade, I would have very few problems at all just now. As it is I'm reading over my Logic notes and can remember neither being taught any of it, nor writing the additional notes and useless doodles in the margins.

I took the Geek Test that someone or other posted a few days ago. I got quite a low score, but I think I deserve extra points for correctly guessing what ROT13 was and bothering to write a program to perform it.

You know you only had to do the first character mentally to get the answer.

can I kill you now please, people who get marks that high are too cruel...

hehehe, I know what you mean with the doodles... I was checking some maths notes to see if I needed them or could send them home and I opened the folder with mum and dad watching and the page of notes it opened at had 'this is soooooo boring!' written diagonally down the centre of the page in huge writing... ok, guess that was a good course. I know that number theory has a nearly complete dragon (with scales) on the back and functional analysis is annotated with 'I'm so hungry' on alot of pages.

*giggles*

I stll treasure the time when the lecturer just spent half an hour writing and reading binary, to illustrate a point we all understood. The group of four of ud I sit in found it so funny that one of us had to actually leave for five minutes because he was laughing so hard.

My best doodle has to be a random drawing which was in the midst of graph theory notes, causing me to have to annote it "Doodle". This semester I bought a notebook which is largely for doodling in, though. Not to say that I've not written messages for revising on the notes: "To revising me: You are so screwed."
