What's this thing doing on? I thought I had turned my computer off, but it was sitting there waiting for me when I got back, so I thought I might as well write this.

Well, it was the Melville Ball tonight. Apparently, Donald was sent round to wake me up, but his knocking at the door failed to rouse me. I was awakened by a phone call from Paul, though I only hauled myself up to answer it the second time.

Anyway, after a brief trip back to get my ticket, we got going. Ate a vast amount of sausage rolls, which were effectively my breakfast. There wasn't as much of a shortage of dancing partners as some people had expected, and I took part in most of the ceilidh dances. (What an awkward word).

After that was the disco, which I'm less good at dancing to. That didn't stop me, though - most of the group left to go either to Karaoke Idol or back to the hall. So I found my "breakfast harem" (an expression coined by Donald) instead. Now, at the start of the night people had been given numbered tickets - I had managed to procure number 94 - and we were supposed to dance with whoever had a number that matched, but hardly anyone had actually picked one up. So in the end I was dancing with a very cute girl named Terri. Feel free to start rumours.

Walked home and before writing this, suddenly remembered about the Chemistry tutorial. It's over and done with now, and with any luck there might be some right answers in there.
