The exam results come out tomorrow! I only just remembered this morning. It's a bit of a departure from the usual way of doing it, which is to set a vague date and hope that the departments have their grades up by then. I'm not sure if I like the way that I know for sure what my situation is tomorrow, but it's got to be better than checking the record page every morning only to see it blank again.

While I'm on the subject, I'm also confused that we suddenly have to change our university passwords. I had got rather attached to mine, having had it for three and a half years, but I've obligingly changed it to something that I find in retrospect a lot more difficult to type. There wasn't even an adequate explanation of why we had to alter them.

This post is going nowhere, so I'll just mention that I've discovered the fantasticness of Sonata Arctica's "My Selene" and Helloween's "Dr. Stein" and be off.

I just added an extra letter to the end of mine...it was too hard trying to find a new one which fulfilled all their criteria.

The last time I got told to change my uni password I changed it. Then changed it back about ten seconds later. The system registered it as a change and was happy.

They say all results will be up tomorrow, in practice, that's not the case. Latin has been up since at least 7pm. It is rather odd, though, and leads to bad situations with advising. A friend of mine is panicking because she's got an e-mail from her advisor telling her she must make an appointment with him tomorrow or Monday. It's rather cruel to leave her uncertain as to how badly she's done, or what her options are.

I wonder if the system allows to keep my current password with changes to the arbitary capitalisation they insist we us.

Didn't you get the e-mail a couple of days back?

i haven't changed mine because it already meets the criteria. i don't see the point, there is no way someone will guess it *touches wood*

I changed my password and it now seems that both my old password AND my new pasword allow me access to webmail etc. It is probably due to the fact that my password is now 15 characters long, and it only checks the first 14 or something.... stupid uni computers!
