It's finally happened, I've given in and got myself one of these new-fangled LiveJournals. And what better ways are there to start it off than with the results of an Internet quiz? (Yes, I can think of several as well.)

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Moderate
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)High
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)Low
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Low
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Very Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

So that's nice to know. Quite why anyone would want to read about my life instead of living their own is beyond me, but this way I don't have to remember to sign (or indeed "sing") everything on other people's journals.

Why did I choose this smiley set? Well, they're square. I'll get around to redecorating this page later, but dinner calls.

I've just realised that today is 30/04/03, and (30 - 4 - 3) is that number 23 again. Which proves... something, maybe.

Anyway, now that the style's done - although it'll probably be changed hundreds of times as I experiment with it and work out how to use the Style Override - I've got to decide what style to actually write it in. Most of my Friends' journals have a specific gimmick, or something significant about them. So, apart from my particular brand of insanity, what can I do with this one?

[livejournal.com profile] mercuryanna, for example, has song lyrics as the titles of the entries... well, I started that anyway below. I can't hope to match the comedy genius of [livejournal.com profile] sleigh82, or the insincere 1337speak featured by [livejournal.com profile] raphx.

One thing I could do is a Quote of the Day - however, [livejournal.com profile] gr33bo has beaten me to it. The fact that I've been putting a Quote of the Day in my e-mails since some time in the year 2000 probably wouldn't deter him from claiming that he got there first, or indeed winning the inevitable argument over it.

There's another log that I keep, and that's highlights from the Sinner chatroom - the humour value of that place matches even Richard Whiteley on good days. Putting quotes from it up would encourage people to come up with memorable quotes, though... but still, I have 58.8kb of them so far and I don't want all of them to go to waste. And because I'm not always going to write this at the end of the day, it'll have to be...

The Sinner Chatroom Quote of Yesterday )

...Well, it'll get better. And the title will have to be abbreviated a bit, but I'm working on it.

Anyway, what happened today? I just went up to accommodation services to hand my contract in - first time I'd been up there, it's a maze reminiscent of an Escher painting. Also, I got the computing practical for the week out of the way, which wasn't anywhere near as hellish as usual.

After that, Richard beat me at Starcraft after Paulette left, even though I should really have won... well, if I wasn't so hopeless at RTS I might have. And we'll be going to see The Two Towers tonight, followed by watching the May Dip. With any luck I might even get some sleep as well.
