Like a river we will flow, on towards the sea we go

I haven't updated this in absolutely ages - mostly because nothing's been happening. Just the way I like it.

I might be getting a job at the service station at the other end of the town, though - I haven't even got a letter asking me to come to an interview yet, but it seems more likely that I'll get that one rather than any other I've applied for. Fortunately I'm not absolutely desperate for money, though it's always nice to have around. As Professor Naismith said, "Money can't buy happiness, but it sure makes misery more comfortable."

Yesterday, though, we travelled round a number of unpronounceable picturesque fishing villages. The midges are out in force again, and dousing myself in insect repellent failed to help at all. As I got my dad's digital camera working, I might even be able to show you some photos of it if you're really at a loose end.

Is that all? In a word - yes. I can't really extend this entry in to an essay like Richard complains I do all the time. But good luck to him, incidentally - meeting his girlfriend for the first time tomorrow. As for me, the St Andrews visit is also tomorrow, so that's something to look forward to at least.
