I'm sure you're all anxious to learn how my brother, who no one who reads this has ever met, got on in his Highers. Straight As, as it happens - five of them. Isn't he the cat's whiskers. No doubt the family will be having a celebratory meal at The Globe this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, I've been asked to play in the music group at the church again. I was a regular member before leaving Inverurie, but I've let it slide now - I haven't even touched my violin for about a year now.
Faced with no other options, I've been tidying my bedroom. Paul was right, I am a hoarder... like some sort of squirrel or magpie, keeping an incredible amount of junk because it just might come in useful some day. However, I've begun getting rid of some of it now (I'm the kind of person who finds it difficult to throw things out). So far, I've found:
If you're wondering what all the stuff is in the background, then... well, it's just there.
Also, I got my hair cut again. Here's a picture of my current style, and for comparison purposes, here is a picture of a pool ball.

However, I've begun getting rid of some of it now (I'm the kind of person who finds it difficult to throw things out). So far, I've found:
- Two copies of "Facts for Life" by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (I couldn't have made that name up)
- A plastic boomerang (I tried to throw it away, but it came back... oh, you already know that joke)
- Two calculator manuals (the TI-83+ one looks more like a dictionary)
- My wooly hat (lost it last year, it's now back in my jacket)
- An unidientified wooden pipe thing
- Driving manuals
- One of those puzzle cubes made up of awkwardly-shaped pieces (with one piece missing)
- My S1 homework diary (horrendous brown booklet)
- My S3 homework diary (not quite as horrendous white booklet - you know the kind of thing, they tried to make it "friendly" by including as many laughable Clipart pictures as they could crowbar in to it)
- A multitude of disks (wonder what the collective noun for disks is. An error, possibly)
- A mirror with a slot for batteries
- The tail of a stuffed lion
- Memory (literally - a couple of "16MB RAM" boards in a bag. They're the wrong size for my computer. There's a sound card there as well)
- A light bulb
- Some medals from my Army days (actually just the BB, but it felt like it)
- A mouse made out of Blu-Tack
- This charming little out-of-focus creature (I think I made it in about Primary 4)
If you're wondering what all the stuff is in the background, then... well, it's just there.
