I managed to completely soak myself and half the kitchen this morning by attempting to wash a bunch of grapes. It's a wonder I can drink through a straw without seriously injuring myself.

The St Andrews Pile is accumulating in the corner of my room, and even though I'm not taking all the useless stuff that I brought along last time and left in the bottom of my cupboard, it's still going to be quite a task fitting it all in to the back of a Ford Fiesta.

The dreams are getting stranger/worse night by night. Usually they're clear enough to write down, but I can't remember last night's. I'm sure it involved bicycles in some way. Odd that I used to never remember dreams, and just about every day since I arrived back I've had at least one per night.

Was there a point to this entry? Oh, yes, I've been playing a lot of Dark Chronicle - a sort of Japanese RPG combined with a fishing game, golf game, building game and, er, invent-em-up. It's as if they couldn't decide what genre to make so they just threw them all on to one disc. As soon as the game seems complicated enough and you've got used to it, a new element is introduced, such as upgrading your vehicle, spectrumising your weapons (honest, that's what it's called - and this game really does use names like Battle Wrench +5) or building a town in the present so that you can change the future, so you can go back in to the past and alter the "origin points" to avoid events in the present, or something like that.

It might help (but it probably won't) to think of it as a combination of Diablo 2, Sim City and Granstream Saga (remember, that little RPG I had on my Playstation that Susan rather liked). I've only got three days before leaving for St Andrews, in fact, so I'd better get cracking. Those culture points don't accumulate themselves.
