It's rather nice that half of my class time doesn't start up until next week, although it does involve me wasting a lot of time on the computer. I'm still rubbish at Civ 3.
A leaflet for Rag Week has just been slipped under my door. Now, as I said earlier, the way that this particular piece of spam is written is beyond belief. For all those of you who haven't seen it, you can read the monstrosity in its entirely here: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/~ragweek/events.htm
There are just so many things wrong with that. Well, in fact there's only one thing wrong with it, but it's fairly major - the horrendous corruption of English. It's not just this year either, it was last year as well, and it makes it almost completely unreadable. I've no idea who would honestly want to type like that - maybe, maybe it's fair enough on mobile phones when you don't have a keyboard and have limited space, but it's inexcusable here. I didn't think anyone over the age of eight genuinely typed like that.
Why am I so annoyed about this? I just need something to rant about, I think. In fact a lot of things have been rather irritating me recently - it must be just getting back in to classes that's doing it. There's one other major thing that I want to talk about that was discussed in the chatroom at length before I quit so abruptly, but I really don't see the point in doing so as I think I'd come across wrongly.
Okay. It seems stupid to have written so much about the choice of wording on a leaflet. I'll just tear it up in to stylish confetti and be done with it. It's just as well the Sinner troll hasn't been around recently, I really think I might lose it if he posted another thread.
