Well, our little group in Computer Science collectively found out that the solution to the practical that we had spent three hours working out last night (with the ancient demonstrator guiding us every step of the way) was in fact wrong. The real answer took about five minutes to complete, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or just makes it even more frustrating. I am not looking forward to the assessed practical next week.

The newspaper has to be done for Chemistry. I have five articles written up, but I have the feeling that they're too long - 300 words doesn't sound like much at all as a number, but it's a surprising amount when you have to fit however many articles in to two sides of A3. At least we definitely won't be short of any material.

Lab involved sitting next to a large, vague piece of machinery for two hours and occasionally turning some dials. I did, however, also put together a model of the close packing of rock salt made out of polystyrene balls, and that is now sitting on the top shelf in my room looking like a large freakish Liquorice Allsort.

Having come back and had a dinner of battered cod pieces, I'm rather exhausted. I just need to find some appropriate-looking photos and then I can have an early night.

Welcome back from Italy, Sarah. :D
