One panic is drawing to a close. The paper came out perfectly from Reprographics and it's now in my folder - all that remains is to get the insert from Lindsay (I really hope that she's done something) and then to go up and hand it in to Lightfoot. And if she hasn't done anything by now, I give up, I'm going to hand it in anyway.

It's so nice having been able to sleep for a change, even though I was woken up a couple of times during the night by my neighbours who were singing the music from "Home and Away" very loudly indeed. But I had forgotten what it was like to wake up in the morning and actually be able to get out of bed without a huge struggle.

As a result, I paid attention to Roy Dyckhoff's lecture for the first time in a while. Usually I just sit there and nod off, but I stayed awake for the whole time this morning. The last part of it was about (wait for it) Hypercubes, and how to network computers so that they conform to that shape. I would have thought that was impossible, myself.

All that I have to worry about now is the lab reports due in next week. Oh, and my assessed practical for Computer Science. And the labs themselves, which aren't finished. And then the exams. And why "Devils and Angels" isn't getting many downloads on Modplug.

But apart from those minor details, everything is fine.

Hooray! I've been waiting for news of that for a while, but sadly for me it isn't out until the middle of June. The best thing about it being that Piet Sielck (hero) decided against calling it "Metalizer".

The insert for the paper was finally printed off during lab, and now it's done and handed in. That's a huge weight off my mind, so I can now stay up all night and jump in to freezing water in the morning. Great.

During the crisis of the week I have been vastly amused by this Flash movie: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/110131 I was rather surprised to find that it was by someone who I used to talk to occasionally years ago, and it seems that he's now well on his way to becoming an Internet phenomenon. It's about someone who's trapped in a really bad Flash... it's really simple and almost childish, Tom and Jerry type humour, but it makes me laugh. Lunacy in Flash form. I think [livejournal.com profile] dunqn will rather like it.
