This evening, in a shocking turn of events, I've been given a job - waiting tables at the Kintore golf club. I've yet to find out what kind of hours it'll involve, the rota seems to be mostly made up as my boss-to-be goes along. It pays £3.80 an hour, which isn't an astronomical amount but it does mean that I'll have some funds for next year on top of the loan.
My room is an utter mess after moving in. I had no idea I had so many clothes down with me in St Andrews, and there's just no place to put them, so currently the room that I share with my brother looks like the scene after an explosion in an Oxfam shop. There are also now four computer monitors and cases on and under the desk, making it resemble something from Star Trek (at least it would if three of them weren't from before 1995). The clean will have to take place some time, but for now the mess is insurmountable.
I don't think I've mentioned the situation here about why I'm not updating... I'm in my brother's dingy room which drains my life force away, on a computer that has trouble running two Explorer windows at once, because my computer doesn't have the required Freeserve software to connect and the cable isn't long enough to reach it anyway. Also, as is true of a lot of summers, there wasn't much to write about for a while apart from progress made in Dark Chronicle. (I've now finally got rid of the Lamb's Sword after about six months, hurrah.)
I need a haircut.
