Whitney's just left, after a most pleasant weekend which involved wandering around in Inverurie and Aberdeen, it was rather lazy in fact. Going up to places like the stone circle, Keithhall - not sure how many Hs there should be in that - and the Bass (not the Boss) in Inverurie (not Invarerirorurie).

We went to see The Day After Tomorrow the day before yesterday (hah, I've been waiting two days so that I could type that). I found it enjoyable even though it did have that moment that most films have for me, the time when I start wanting it to hurry up and end - but at that moment, it did hurry up and end, so everything was all right. Also, the bit when they're running down the corridors away from the spreading ice is great. In their concentration on America they did seem to totally forget about the rest of the world, though.

In addition to that, though, I had my first two shifts during the weekend after my employer(ess?) first assured me I didn't have weekend hours, then said that I would be working one day but not both, then eventually gave me both days. I have a feeling she's not too organised.

I got an email from someone saying how good my music was the other day, which was a good boost for me. Unfortunately, he's since turned out to be utterly insane and has sent me a four-page long list of programming resources. Still, you can't have everything.
