Nearly there.
Jan. 17th, 2005 11:24 pmShockingly for an Honours CS exam, the Machines and Computation one this afternoon actually went quite well. I knew how to do most things in it and could make vague guesses as to the answers to the other questions. Not to mention the fact that the exam venue had a really nice ceiling. So that was a relief, and the Vic allday breakfast which I treated myself to afterwards was nice and unhealthy as well.
Celebrations didn't last long, though, because we were left with 22 hours from the end of the exam to revise for the next one, Data Communications and Networks. That's going to be the hardest one of all, and a focus group got together this evening in the JCB to go over the course (as well as mess about with connecting to our own computers, convincing Rob that the coffee machine had an IP address, and so on). That should make it a little easier, at least. I left them behind in the windowless lab at eleven to find that snow had fallen, and I'm now in my room, smiling slightly in the knowledge that I can cut off their supply of Queen MP3s at the touch of a button.
