Have a look at this - http://www.ljbook.com

For those who want to archive their entire journal (I think [livejournal.com profile] yemminie expressed that wish a while ago), this page can generate a PDF of the whole thing. I just tried it, and it seems to give far better results than using the "export.bml" page (even though I never did get around to writing a file to interpret the XML tree, which might have improved matters).

It records comments as well (though not user icons). Also, links are shuffled to the bottom of each entry, which makes things a bit untidy if you post quizzes in your journal. Otherwise it works very well indeed.

I'm a bit disappointed that over two and a bit years I've only managed to produce a 2.67MB PDF worth of content. Having said that, it's 305 pages long at 10 point Times New Roman, so I'm not going to print it out just yet.

Now I'm going to America. Bye.
