So, I bought Trauma Center: Under the Knife yesterday. I even went to the trouble of downloading a replacement cover from The Cover Project (which is really handy) to put on the box instead of Gamestop's usual missing-box substitute, and it looks pretty convincing even though it felt strangely like pirating it.
Call it a critical mass of irony, or facing a fear to get over it - after all, everyone knows that that worked out fantastically with Ecco the Dolphin. We'll see if my usual nightmares get any more colourful at any point in the next while.
