I enjoyed this years ago but I don't think that I ever linked to it... there is a comedian/radio presenter/author called Tony Hawks in Britain, who is perhaps most immediately recognizable for travelling round Ireland with a fridge and has no affiliation with any sport involving rocketing along on a plank with wheels on it whatsoever.

Inevitably, though, because of the American skateboarder with a name just one "s" short of his, he keeps on getting messages from fans whose elementary schools are slightly too elementary (to take a phrase from him) and who have somehow got hold of the wrong email address. He's taken to exhibiting them on his site along with his sardonic and/or off-the-wall replies, probably rapidly turning them into ex-fans in the process.
To Tony I have some things I want to tell you how much skate boards do have? How old are you? How much skate parks have you been to? Oh and show me some of the pictures of parks you have been to thanks from; your best friend Andrew have a nice time skate boarding.

Dear Andrew,
Here are the answers to your questions.
1) I have 2 skateboards. One for each foot.
2) I am 84 years old.
3) I have been to no skate parks, which feels like the correct number.

In a similar manner, my dad was once mistaken by an entire American school class for Robert Newton Peck and got a heap of emails asking him about "A Day No Pigs Would Die", but sadly he chose to just ignore them.
