Could it be it's the end of our world

* Same man as today, actually
After living through at least eight in my lifetime, I'm quite used to the anticlimactic nature of the end of the world, and perhaps the most surprising part of this to me is that some people aren't. But with such a definite prediction coming from one man this time, it's going to be interesting listening to him coming up with an excuse like he forgot to carry the 3 or that God was just on the phone saying that the rapture was postponed so that we could enjoy the nice weather during the weekend. And - though they didn't get the message the first time this happened in 1994 - whether the people who honestly believe this stuff will begin to realize that it's all a bit silly.
Of course they won't, because they're stupid. But someone's come up with a way to make a bit of money - as he said on the BBC News site...
I so wish I'd thought of that.

He has more than 250 clients who are paying up to $135 to have their pets picked up and cared for after the rapture.
They would be disappointed twice, he told the Wall Street Journal. "Once because they weren't raptured and again because I don't do refunds."
I so wish I'd thought of that.
