I've been at the Maltese Furcon this weekend! And tonight I came back with this.

Yes, it is a trophy statuette of a pigeon, continuing their invasion of every corner of my life. I was awarded this for my participation in the convention's masquerade, which was very well-received for how hastily assembled it had been - I didn't know I would be performing in it until I was pulled in when I arrived that morning due to a shortage of acts, and chose to perform the rabbit pyjamas story (with a few embellishments that I had wished I'd thought of at the time I told it at Furfright) and a new one I had had in my mind for a while about my fear of flying. They came off better than I could have imagined - coming to these things has done wonders for my ability to stand up and speak in front of people, even without vast rehearsal beforehand.
As have, of course, pigeons.
