That sounds awful! I'm glad I never saw that. Reminds me vaguely of the animated version of Watership Down. Great book, creepy-as-hell film.
Anyway, in terms of environmental lessons, we had the benign and ever so camp Captain Planet. God I wanted one of those rings. They don't make children's television like they used to.
