Overdone meme #94
Nov. 30th, 2007 11:12 pmWhat's in your copy-paste buffer at the moment? Hit Comment, hit Ctrl+V and submit the resulting gibberish to me. Just if you feel like it. I found this on a Google search for myself (shut up) and the results are often entertaining. And probably entirely fabricated.
If you're wondering, mine contains "Darkpaw". I don't know why, either.

Date: 2007-12-01 01:13 pm (UTC)The reason I'm thinking this is that I'm really rather fond of the mathematics in my talk from the Burn, and think if I study it more so that I could answer questions, possibly include some proofs, I can make it interesting, accesible to postgrads and undergrads, and 45 minutes or so well spent.
The title would be "number systems and the p-adic absolute value", which was what I wanted to call my Burn talk, but didn't have time to say that...
What do you think?"
A facebook message I wrote to Arthur about a talk, which I was thinking of copying to Tony, my PhD student friend who's organising said talks.
I've got a 45-60 minute slot to give a talk on what I like, and I had a talk which I gave for a 15 minute slot in about 30 minutes which probably contained 45 minutes of material which I'd really like to give.
It's incredibly dull if you aren't me, but stilll...

Date: 2007-12-03 01:36 am (UTC)It's strange that someone who writes humour articles (even the walkthroughs for the games are quite funny) managed to produce something so incredibly frightening. Had you played them before, or did you go through them all after I mentioned it?

Woo, R. I think this is probably the most "gibberish"...I did most of it on my laptop this week.
