It's the Final Countdown

davidnHi. I mean "Arr, mateys". The counter's at 72,969 - down in to quindruple... quintuple... er, five figures now.
Yesterday was spent watching films with people, the last get-together before my day of packing for St Andrews. Dave Moore's networked his two computers together now for UT2003, in fact... perhaps I should get a decent computer. But for now this one's fine, as long as we don't discover a multiplayer game more demanding than Worms World Party. We also watched a few episodes of Black Books (my brother put it very well when he simply described it as "one of the best programmes ever), Falling Down and Donnie Darko. Hadn't seen that before, and I didn't understand it very much to be honest. And we saw that Stephen Fry quiz, QI - it's rather good. Apparently we now have two moons and only eight planets.
After mopping up my morning cup of hot chocolate from the top of the freezer, fridge and the inside of the microwave, I got down to packing for St Andrews today. (Actually it was quite a lot later because I played Dark Chronicle for about four hours in between). I just found a receipt for milk bought in St Andrews on 24/09/02. See you all there. Splice the mainsail. And so on.
