Happy new decade, everyone.

I have but one resolution and goal for this year: finish and release this blasted game. Getting a release ready for Clickteam was a great boost to making it presentable even if the response was lacklustre - I will celebrate the new year by releasing a demo independently very soon, when their agreed month of exclusivity runs out, and hopefully it will propagate around the Internet much more that way.

It's not started off all that well, because the last time I was at a bostonfurs meeting we all signed a couple of get-well-soon cards to be sent to someone who had H1N1 in hospital, and I've just discovered that he's died. I hope you have a brighter beginning to the new decade than that.

Youch. Thankfully, everyone I know with H1N1 survived. Don't start as you mean to go on!

I hope I downloaded the KlikDisc to my external hard drive because I did that at home shortly before a university assignment marathon; as a result I promptly forgot all about it until your post now. I was quite looking forward to that, too.

The odd thing is that I do get updates on the site saying that people have started the game, but very rarely anything indicating they've actually done anything! Perhaps people prefer to turn off the autosync and then forget about it because there's only one computer in the demo area - maybe I should do a bit more prompting towards it if the automatic updating is off.
