Henry's Flat
Apr. 12th, 2010 08:08 amYes, I know, an empty Youtube-pointer post, but Yahtzee quietly uploaded a video fitting the Vic and Bob song "Trapped in My Flat" to Silent Hill 4 at the start of the year, and it fits strangely well.

Particularly on the first line, "I haven't left me flat for over three months", the difference in mood between a horror game and a happy song about the same subject is quite wonderful.
After that I went looking for their other songs, and couldn't stop laughing at the one where they use that fanfare that I can't remember the name of and give it the triumphant words "I've got a new hoover".

My name is James Sutherland, I'm ringing to compain about the amount of roadworks going on in the city. Every second road seems to be completely blocked off - I can't get anywhere without going through one of your blocks of apartments. And it's not even as if they're in the right place - that crack in the road on Lindsey Street that opens up into a screaming abyss has been there for weeks..." :P
