I'm not sure how much longer I can cope with these constant reminders that I live in a country where it's generally accepted that people need to be told things at this sort of level.
This is pretty much why I don't enjoy television here - not just for its actual content (although that would make a pretty ideal secondary reason) but for the reason that it seems to treat me like an utter moron whenever it's on.
This advert, I think, was attempting to lend some light-heartedness to the usual disclaimer - later on, it says something along the lines of "Or do barrel rolls - really, do not attempt". Which raises the slightly different question of why, when making an advert for a truck that can't snowboard, you would base it around showing off its snowboarding abilities.
