I suppose that this is the next logical step up from the undead voodoo creatures in Bagpuss. After having grown up with British children's television, turning into a rabbit was the least of my problems later in life.

It took until the acid meltdown at the very end for me to realize this wasn't real--up until then, I was this close to commenting with something like "for a children's thing encouraging creativity, that notepad is kind of a jerk." But then it ... it ... actually, the "now let's all agree to never be creative again" line at the very end totally makes the whole thing amazing.

I was fooled as well - I'd have been more than prepared to believe that this was a post-2010 CBBC programme until everything starts going a bit weird. Now even the innocent start seems to have this undercurrent of evil to it, much like The Magic Roundabout always did.

It seems that the latest "thing" floating about the Internet is Shock Value. woekitten linked to a pair of positively disturbing MLP fan videos (http://woekitten.livejournal.com/741256.html) about disemboweling said ponies, all while smiling and singing.
