Mochimedia, the advert provider that I use for my Flash games, has been having some database trouble over the last while, with seemingly every new day producing another message on login saying "Sorry, something else has gone wrong". Usually it just means that in-depth statistics are unavailable and nothing else exciting happens, but this time it's turned me into a virtual squillionaire.
A recent thread entitled "OMG I'm rich!!!" on their forums indicates that I'm not the only one that this has happened to - many other developers have been awarded anything from a couple of million up to the balance of Tiger Woods' retirement fund. It's just as well this happened at the start of a month, as far away from a billing day as possible - otherwise Paypal would go absolutely mental shutting down people's accounts when automatically asked to receive, collectively, more money than has ever existed in the entire world.
