I'd just like to note that the local rock radio station was on at the dentist. I spent a morning having my head irradiated then my teeth assaulted with sharp instruments, in a chair with a broken armrest, listening to Linkin Park.

I can think of something less desirable to have on the radio at that time. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMh76ZX4Ucg)

Regardless, though, my condolences on your ordeal and its musical malady.

Or....

Anyway, on my end, we have a newer alt-rock station with whatever kids like that are listening to these days, and an older kind of Sabbath/Dio/Guns N Roses/etc. station (which has also branched out into the early 90s grunge movement, particularly Soundgarden for some reason,) guess which one I listen to when CDs aren't an option.

Sabbath, GnR, and Soundgarden...sounds a lot like the section of my iTunes collection that isn't J-Rock or George Carlin.

Normally, I prefer sticking to my own power metal CD collection. However, I will admit that, when I absolutely have to listen to the radio, I could do significantly worse than Iron Maiden and Dio with some random Pearl Jam thrown in.
