Before I had to escape due to a tragic sudden CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY I was doing a pink-to-red gradient. This is as far as I got before we hightailed it out of the apartment, and it's very much a WIP (as in I don't even know if I like the doubled gemlike gradient):
