Yes, that sounds like a good mix of games to describe this - and an improvement over the original film, as well :) When I first played it, Carmageddon was the first game I'd ever seen of its type - ostensibly having rules, but really set up to just allow you to have fun by going crazy in a variety of environments. The computer opponents can never win a race - everything's just set up to allow the player to do pretty much as they want, and there's quite a full-featured action replay mode to relive the most spectacular crashes.

I didn't know that the Ninja Turtles were now allowed! What a great step forward for British society.
