The work is already piling up, just three days in. I'll be giving a presentation in a couple of weeks about the use and misuse of computers in the music industry - far better than the last presentation I had. But the group project for the year is... you'll never guess... it's not spying on people over the Internet, or ruining the floor of the John Honey Building, as previous years have had - it's building a programmable dancing robot.

Melville has had its first fire alarm of the year, as well - surprise, surprise, it was a fault in the system. That doesn't fill me with great confidence.
