Hmm. I'm honestly not that sure: I've told you before, since my mother got your mother to get you to send it, I was expecting it, and didn't find it creepy. I was, however, too confused by life/the oddity of the situation to know how to respond. And I was always going to come here, technically, it's just things were changing lots, and the reality of life, the reality of change and the reality of leaving home, which I'd decided to do on the spur of the moment because I knew it'd be harder to leave later, were all hitting home, which caused my panic levels to hit just about an all time high, so I was thinking of pulling out. You being there, someone vaguely approximating known, might have made me think it'd be less hard, but I'm really not too sure how likely I would've been to be sure of the decision long enough to go through with pulling out. You affected my thinking, certainly. I'm just not sure how.

What I'm now wondering is the consequenes of me replying to you. I'm more than a little sure that you'd have turned it into a chat, whether IM if you had it or IRL sometime, or just mail. Which would've meant I'd have known you in fresher's week. Which would've almost certainly meant my relationships with folk would've been different in the first few weeks, which would've changed my whole uni life.

Anyway, this is a massively long and rambling reply, but did you really expect anything less?
