I want to fly - HIGH!
May. 6th, 2003 03:51 pmI'm rather embarrassed to admit that I like this song, let alone have it playing at the moment. Not just because it's from the Sonic "Songs With Attitude" album, but also because it sounds like some sort of heavy metal version of "Reach" by S Club.
In fact, the AMH ball last week made me realise that there are a lot of songs that I like, but hate to admit it, even to myself. I blame Cheesemaster Paul and Punmaster Chris for that. ...It would have been much better if those names were the other way round, they would have alliterated. But anyway, I'm rambling, and I should save that for the CH1006 essay.
I had my last Computer Science tutorial of the year at 9 this morning. As usual, my tutor just complained about how badly the course was organised before asking, as an afterthought, if we had any problems. After that I came back briefly to finish off the acres of lab report pro-formae(?) that I'd been given out.
While I was at it, I did some work for the CH1006 poster presentation on Friday (not quite the most pointless part of a course ever). I was interrupted by another tutorial, then it was back to work and I got it finished with twelve minutes to spare before the meeting. E-mailed it to Dr Philp, but forgot to attach it, so now he no doubt thinks I'm a complete moron.
The meeting didn't last very long, and the finished article is taking shape. I decided that as I would be in a meeting tomorrow as well I'd better make a start on the Computing practical. That didn't last long, though, as no one there knew what to do about it either. Also, it's incredibly difficult to work when there's a couple wrapped around each other at the next desk, so I left after about ten minutes, squeezing my way through a group of people eating buns on the way out. I mean people who were eating buns, not man-eating buns. Sorry, but I'm working on the theory that I can't possibly be any less funny than the comedian last night was reported to be. I don't really know what they were doing there in the first place.
Been typing this for twelve minutes, so... until next time.
