If you haven't been clicking these, now's a good time to start... this has to be one of my favourites. It's the song that got me in to Kamelot, who are basically a metal band with an added piano, synth effects, and the entire Rodenberg Symphony Orchestra.
This should be my last day of serious work... unfortunately it involves programming a server for the Computing practical. No, I don't see the point of it either.
The presentation meeting went well, and we should even be finished by the deadline. The centrepiece of the CH1004 poster is now a snail made out of Blu-Tak. And when searching on Google for anything which might be relevant, I got a Fraggle Rock website. Honestly, I ask you.
In the afternoon yesterday, I actually did some work on the essay rather than just moaning about it, and it's now at just over 1,700 words if you include the references at the end (I really am getting desperate). Trouble is, I can't really think of anything more to say apart from conclude it with the answer to the question... which should take about 100 words. But I'll try to employ some rambling skills.
After that, I was going to do some more work... honestly I was... but then Chris tempted me with thoughts of playing The Nerdiest Game in the World (AKA Transport Tycoon Deluxe).
Of course, the main event of the day was going to see Ghostbusters in the evening. It had more successful jokes in it than anyone would have any right to expect - I can't believe I didn't see it the other seventeen bajillion times it must have been on.
"Well... it's the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man."
Apologies for my mood before the start of the film... there are just times when I get lost in my thoughts too much.
So it's just the practical, the essay and the posters that need to be done, and after that I can go home for a break. Or, more likely, solid revision. No, on second thoughts that isn't very likely at all.
