I got post this morning! The first time since about January last year. Just a bus ticket, but it's post all the same - only cost me £1 as well.
I'm in a much better mood than I was last night - I think that even just going out and getting fresh air helps. DDR as well, of course. I ended up spending £3 in the games room last night before coming back and finishing off my Computing practical.
I met Kibet, finally, in the Chemistry computer room - a slightly strange meeting, as we were sitting at opposite ends of the same bench and typing to each other - he realised who I was first.
The Chemistry department has managed to get my middle initial wrong, and according to them I'm now "David X. Newton". I don't think I'll bother informing them.
I also got this e-mail, which I've left uncensored for a change. The full story behind it is rather long-winded.
( Activate drivel-filters before proceeding )
That's what happens when you're the nice guy. Naturally, that hurt me very deeply by causing me to laugh so hard that my lungs exploded out of my chest and went flying across the room in opposite directions. I'm not sure whether I should reply to it, though - should I try and get more out of him, or just leave him alone?
Combined with the fact I've already finished the practical and all my classes for the day, I'm in a good mood.
