A DDR post.
Dec. 6th, 2003 10:45 amI was absolutely shattered last night, so I gave Paul's birthday pub crawl a miss (not Sinner Paul, Chemistry Paul.) Last year it took ten and a half hours, I'll be impressed if they beat that record.
The reason for the shatteredness was probably having gone to the Union in the afternoon with Paul to play DDR - trying to extend our repertoire. "Captain Jack" is the most disturbing of the songs, with a video including someone who as Paul pointed out looks suspiciously like Ainsley Harriot. It's also the most generic trance track of the lot, just going through C, G#, A#, C, over and over again.
This is what Paul and I are up against. We tried it on Simple to get the rhythm of it, but discovered it really didn't have much rhythm at all. According to the 400kb guide I read the other day, once you've passed Paranoia Rebirth you can be considered an "intermediate" DDR player. The author also managed to collapse his lung while playing DDR, though, so it could be more dangerous than we think.
And I won £2 from Pharoah's Tomb as well.
