Find your own voice, it's your own choice
Dec. 16th, 2003 11:24 amThis is no longer relevant to how I'm feeling, but a thought came to me last night while I listened to Donald and Sleigh singing "Living on a Prayer" through the wall (I promise the rest of the entry won't be like this!)... how would you feel if it seemed that no matter what choices you made, your tastes, how you lived your life... there would always be someone who looked down on you, laughed at you because of it, even if that someone was sometimes your own imagination? It's not an encouraging thought.
Anyway! Spaceballs is rather a funny film. "Even in the future, nothing works." Just remembered watching that with Fiona a while ago. Also, I now have little to no hair, having torn it all out while attempting the CS practical for this week. (Ref. this)
Last night we went out to Drouthy's to meet Katie's parents, which was rather amusing, especially when Donald turned up. The pub crawl plan was as much a non-starter as ever, though I did see Phil and the gang at the start of the pub quiz.
After the others went to the Gin House and some encouraging words from Bryn, I went to the Union and absolutely crippled myself playing DDR. Note to self: Playing Paranoia Rebirth twice in a row is a very bad idea, even if you can pass it with an A.
I've noticed that I seem to be developing rather a lot of spots recently. Being uncurably paranoid, I tried the glass tumbler test. Conclusion: Glass tumblers are cold.
