I learned at 2:05 today that my tutorial at 2:00 was cancelled. Apparently, Irvine had been sending e-mails to people all last week about what time they'd prefer to have it instead, but hadn't told me. He had, however, been sending mails to dn9 - the fake David Newton that arrived here at the start of this year. How he got that e-mail address rather than mine is a mystery to me, though, unless we're both enrolled in the wrong classes. Tis a mystery. And it's also strange that dn9 never bothered to tell him that he wasn't me.
During the time in between finding that out and the start of the lab, I went to the computer lab and found that I'd received a mark of 9.5 out of 10 for my recent essay. <¦-D The comment by the tutor was that it was "Good - even interesting!", which frankly makes me wonder if he's reading the same thing that I wrote. What I produced was, in my eyes, a dull account of what transistors are made of. Still, whatever he likes.
We are now only on schedule rather than a week ahead in our labs, but I think we can still make it - today I spent the time writing things up, which is really what should have been happening all year. I've now got nearly half of them done.
Isn't life great? Yatta! ^_^
